This has been one of my favorite sayings for years now. It was one that got me through 3 unmedicated childbirths, walking around with wailing infants, dealing with willful toddlers, and surly tweens and teens. It helped get me through the first two years of the reign of David and Keziah (it was 2 years yesterday that we took over their care in Ethiopia...how time flies!) And now it has added meaning.
Yes, the penny is out. Hallelujah!
Now, instead of telling everyone at my doctor's office, Sam's, Costco, Michael's, Target, etc. that she swallowed a penny, she announced to them that she POOPED IT OUT.
Thanks for that.
This too shall pass.
