Yearbook me

It is very sad what I waste my time on. I did a bunch of Yearbook You pictures just now because I'm tired and don't want to work. Later tonight I will berate myself for not having done my work, if I don't get going. So I guess I will. After I post the pictures.

The tea party was lovely, of course. Except for my doing a major crash and burn on Friend Priscilla's front porch when a doormat went out from under me. Not much beyond my knee and my dignity were damaged. I hate being a klutz. The Tea Ladies liked their scrapbooks, what I had finished. I went ahead and gave them to them anyway. I don't know why. I guess I wanted a sense of getting something off the list and that seemed like a good deadline to use.

Now I have to do my August paperwork. We have to send reports back to Ethiopia every August until the twins turn 18, complete with pictures, health reports, etc. So I need to get those done before the agency sends me a dirty letter about not getting them in on time. And I have to do my usual homeschool prep paperwork for the district, not to mention the general homeschool prep. But first, weird yearbook photos of me.

Oh, and I did take a picture of that emerald pendant that Friend Husband gave me for our anniversary but it's on Rachel's camera, which is not in the house at this time.

I finally caught up on your blog. Marissa was in an out of home placement for a little over 2 weeks and I spent a ton of time on the road visiting and making arrangements for when she came back. She has been home for about 1 1/2 weeks... pray for an extra dose of patience. I am not doing a very good job at being an appropriate role model for her just now.

I did Yearbook Me quite awhile ago. I thought it was a hoot! Your photos look wonderful.

I am ashamed to say that I sent updates on the kids to Haiti this month too. They were due in May. ARGH!
