Post-surgery

Friend Husband's surgery this morning went very well. It helped that he’s 47, not 80, which is when the surgeon is generally doing these sorts of surgeries.

There is a 50/50 chance that the blood vessels were ruptured when he fell (or when the bone shifted afterward). This would lead to the ball joint’s dying over the course of the next year, which would then lead to another surgery to replace that joint. Not fun. We’d appreciate prayers for the full recovery of his joint (and for patience while we wait for the next year to find out if it’s dead or not).

Thanks!

Lori

Oh my... more excitement than a family deserves indeed!

I will be praying for a full recovery from surgery without complications related to pain and infection. And, I do pray that there won't be the need for another surgery.
