Pics

Here are a few vaca pics from our trip to KY...

This is the b&b we stayed at, Maple Hill Manor, from the front yard, probably right in front of the livestock enclosures. It was built in 1851...magnificent house to stay in. I'm sure it's a pain to run, though.

This is us!

We arrived very early, so we wandered around taking pictures of the grounds. Stupidly, I forgot to take pics of the cool gazebo we relaxed in for about an hour.

There are a number of llamas & alpacas on the place, although this was the closest we could tempt one to come up to us. He was thrilled, as you can see.

Our bed in the b&b. Each bed had a handcrafted bear covered with alpaca fur from their animals.

Outside, right before we left.

A view of the entryway from the stairs.

I really loved this staircase!

The upstairs hallway...can you believe it?

The stairway, again.

The view from our private deck...neighboring horse farm.

Wonderful breakfast (with amazing coffee)...the muffin looking thing was an egg-milk-cheese mixture baked inside croissants. Yum.

Sorry for the shortness of everything, esp. the explanations but Sarah has been patiently waiting on me to get off so I will do so. She drove for the first time on the Interstate today...very impressive. Soon I will remove my nails from the upholstery.
